K. Madison Moore
I have several paintings by the artist K. Madison Moore, but I think this is my favorite. I love Modigliani. He was such an interesting artist. He lived the artist life of an artist of the late 1800’s and early 1900’s. I believe that his mask life features that were portrayed in his art had a lot to do with his empty life. He was an alcoholic that lived a very rough life. He had a woman that he was passionate about, and she was about him. Jeanne loved him deeply. After Modigliani passed away Jeanne took her own life. She leapt out of a window, and killed her unborn baby and herself.
I approached K. Madison Moore with an idea of what I wanted…Jeanne surrounded by portraits of herself by her husband. Trying to find some comfort in books, but to no avail. Her love is gone. Although Jeanne would not have lived in a home like this, it is nice to get lost in the vision. K. Madison Moore does many different types of paintings, and she really explores the vision that a person ask of her. If you would like to explore more of her great pieces go here.
